Day 44 Carpet & Room Deodorizer Plus Pet Hair Release For Easier Vacuuming

Wonton is a short to medium hair but she did shed quite a lot of hair. This product lifts hair up from carpets by breaking the static charge between them. It smells like baby powder.

Day 43 No picture

Day 43 of this Journal. It's also almost the 50th day since I got into Emily Carr. I have four projects due this week. I haven't really thought about Wonton these few days honestly. You could also tell that the last few posts were really done after the dates. I won't lie. I am not posting any picture today as a protest to the madness that stripped me of my life and emotions.

Day 42 Toilet Seat Cover

Some cat owners let their cats drink water from the toilet, but I read that it's actually not good for them because they may end up drinking all these toilet cleansing detergent and germs. I guess Wonton did develop this habit from her previous owner, when she first came to my house the first thing she did was to drink water from the toilet bowl. Therefoer for almost four years I have always left my toilet seat cover down. I still do now.

Wonton liked scratching on this carpet ridge. That area is obviously fluffier.

Wonton liked napping on the washroom floor in the summer.

Day 37 Water dispenser

Day 36 ...

Life has been crazy. School is extremely stressful. Work is physically draining. My spirit is dry. Somehow I thought it was a good thing that Wonton is gone during this time because I won't have any extra time to look after her.
However, I feel so lonely in this empty house. Especially today. I wish she was here.

Day 35 Her Eyes are Green

You can never take a picture of a cat with flash. Their eyes are so bright and they will appear ghost-like.

Day 34 Wonton resting on Ruined Cushion Number 2

See she really liked that cushion. In this picture the cushion is placed on my boyfriend's lap; and my boyfriend's hand is resting on my lap as we watch TV together.

Day 33 Cushions that Wonton had ruined 2

It had been ruined in the same way as the red Mickey Mouse one. See the filling inside of the cushion shows up bumpy on the surface? It's been washed many times with boiling water.

Wonton got too comfy again and peed on it several times. Washed it in hot water several times and the filling inside is all over the place.

Day 31 Dry Shampoo Powder

I like this. Simple and Convenient. No water needed, because Wonton is extremely afraid of water.

Day 30 Couch

Wonton loved to rest or sleep on top of this couch. She could spend the whole afternoon there staring out the window.

Day 29 New MacBook

The pictures of me holding Wonton's belongings you have seen so far have been taken with the pre-installed camera in my MacBook. This picture of Wonton and I was taken on August 7th, the second week I got my MacBook. I wonder what she was thinking when she saw herself on the screen?

Day 28 Plastic bags...lots of

I used to save all these plastic bags from grocery shopping to hold Wonton's excrement and urine clumps. They used to go very quickly. Wonton has gone for month now and these are all the bags that I have saved up.

Day 27 Before she died

She was very sick.

Day 26 When we were younger

This picture was taken during the first year I got Wonton. Too much flash. But that's how I held her.

Day 25 Blanket

Wonton used to hang out on this small couch blanket a lot. She would lie next to me when I took a nap on the couch. A few times when I woke up I would see her sleeping facing toward me.

Day 24 Mouse toy

This mouse wobbly tail thingy is one of Wonton's first toys. I got it from Superstore in the evening when I first adopted Wonton from a pet hospital in Surrey. As mentioned, Wonton was a super lazy cat. You can imagine how frequently she played with this toy :)

Good as brand new. Used only 1x. I do not know why I bought it in the first place.

Day 21 Trying to make Wonton stand

Taken the evening before Wonton died. She lost a lot of muscle and that made her too weak to support herself on four feet.

The vet prescribed it to Wonton because she lost her appetite after she got sick.

Day 18 Online Conversation - Ar 1

A conversation with a friend the night before Wonton died.

I was going to send her for euthanasia, but she was gone before we brought her to the vet. We ended up having the vet confirm her death rather than putting her to sleep.

Day 17 Hairball Remedy

You know all cats lick themselves and they end up swallowing all these hairballs. This malt flavoured gel is to help cats eliminate the hairballs so that they will not feel sick. Wonton's stomach was very sensitive and she tend to puke easily. The instruction says that I am supposed to put the gel on Wonton's paw so that she would lick it into her stomach. She never did it but she would just shake it away; therefore I dabbed it on her waist instead. However, it worked pretty well on her and see how squished the tube is now.

Day 16 Fat and Healthy

Wasn't she cute? These pictures were taken when she weighed almost 12 pounds.

Day 15 Toy

This mouse looking wobbly stick is one of Wonton's toys. Wonton was not a very active cat and she preferred lying around over playing with toys. If I did not dip the toy into catnips, Wonton would not even bother touching it even though it's moving hysterically. Anyway, we still had fun with it; it was like the only exercise that Wonton would do.
